Unruh Photography

Working with Unruh Photography was one of the great joys of our daughter's wedding. Derrick and Jenna instantly connected with the bride and groom and the rest of the family as they came to our home for the engagement photo shoot. Their photography is unique and beautiful, and they worked hard to please their clients. We were very satisfied with all our pictures and look forward to having them photograph our family for years to come!

Derrick and Jenna were great to work with. Our wedding day was blistering hot, and I wanted natural light in all of my photos. They got our family photos done very quickly to keep people out of the heat. The posing for our photos was very creative and they managed a large bridal party very well. Several times throughout the day I'd notice something I wanted a picture of, but they were already shooting it. You cannot ask for a more professional pair of photographers.

Unruh Photography was so creative and handled everything very tastefully. Would highly recommend them!

Instead of having a set package, it would be nice to have options. For example, have a wedding album as part of the package and have it include at least 15 spreads. The Unruhs were quite professional and truly cared about the photography as well as the client.

Derrick and Jenna Unruh were phenominal! They were so fun to work with and were so flexible with our schedules. They went above and beyond with our engagment pictures to really get us the pictures that we wanted. As for our Wedding, I could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was so wonderful having two photographers to be able to capture everything about our day. Words can not describe the day, the dress, the Arboretum, or the true bliss that we shared that day, but MY PICTURES CAN and Unruh Photography gave me the pictures that words could not describe. I can't thank them enough for their warm personalities and their unique and creative talents. My pictures ROCK!

After going to a lot of photographers, Unruh Photography won me over.They were quick to answer any of my questions in person, on the phone and through e-mail.They were definitely worth the money!

Very easy to work with. They provide professional advice and opinions on photos and packages while also listening to your needs to make sure you get what you want. Photos turned out crisp and clear and their color photos are as good as their black and white. They can provide you with the new mountings, books, canvas boards, and so forth that allow the customer to be creative with their photos.

A check list of photos that should be taken at every wedding would be nice for a bride to look through and decide what she wants.

If you are getting married in or near Wichita, KS, I don't think you will find a better photography team than the Unruh's. They are outstanding! I planned my wedding remotely from the Washington, DC area. I met with several photographers in the area before I chose a vendor, and I knew right away when I met Jenna that she and Derrick would be the perfect choice. Their website was immediately impressive, but that was just the beginning. Jenna communicated with me regularly in the planning process and answered all my questions...such a big relief! We were married on our family farm with a fairly small guest list. Jenna and Derrick did an outstanding job of finding all of the best, and very personal, shots around the farm. They mixed in so well with our guests, and were able to get some great candid shots. So many people commented later how helpful and friendly they were. And they really seemed to be enjoying themselves, which as the bride, I just loved! Without a doubt, I would recommend Unruh Photography to anyone. I just wish they were in Washington, DC!

These two are so cute, and are a fun couple to work with. We were really pleased with their photos and service. Selecting and working with a wedding photographer can be stressful, but they made the whole process so easy. I must have emailed them a dozen times a month, and always received a reply by the next day. They are very patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend Unruh Photography to a friend.
