Scottish Rite Temple

My husband and I recently got married at the Wichita Scottish Rite Center in August 2010. It is hands down the most gorgeous setting for a wedding!!!! We got so many compliments from our attendents. Dorothy is a delight to work with and makes the whole process worry-free! She even coordinated our wedding the day of as well as our rehearsal the night before. As a nice surprise on the day of, I found out that we had a doorman that opened the door for each of our guest...just a nice little touch that I appreciated. We were able to take pictures all over the center and they turned out AMAZING b/c of the gorgeous backgrounds that the center provided! There are so many different rooms to take pictures in and each provides it's own unique atmosphere. The Scottish Rite will always hold a special place in my heart! This has to be one of the most beautiful locations in all of Wichita to have a wedding. We got married on the grand staircase, and got to have pictures all over the Temple. There is an absolutely gorgeous chandiler room that you MUST see. When we were there, they were nearly finished with their renovations. Even if you don't book this location, you absolutely MUST take a tour of the entire place!
