Hereford House

We had our reception dinner here. The staff was wonderful!!!! The food was good but not great. We had our own private room and they provided the tools for us to play a slideshow. As the bride, it was a great experience having someone cater to you and your soon to be husband!!

Everything was beautiful and turned out really nice BUT some things took asking the same question several times to clarify and the ceremony and dressing rooms were so hot.

The staff was nice and Joy was great and then a few weeks before my big day Joy quit!! We didn't even know it until we called to set a time to pick out our food. We were then placed with some lady who used to work at a news station!! She had no idea about weddings and to top it off they ran out of food at our reception!! So not happy about that.

Wish I had read the reviews before I booked a wedding there. I guess the food was good but you better order about one and half times at least as the number of guests who will be attending. By the time I got to the food it was pretty much all gone. Ran out of plates twice and they were understaffed for the number of people there. Everyone was nice in advance, but I feel like I way overpaid for what I got.

My reception was terrible!! They had dinner wrong, the champagne fountain was empty because they didn't have any more champagne to fill it with (no kidding), our slideshow was never shown, and they were charging people for drinks when they shouldn't have. When I realized dinner was wrong I asked to speak with Joy, the event coordinator. Of course she wasn't there. Come to find out later from the owner of Hereford House, she had written down everything correctly, she just neglected to give the info to the staff working the event. He told me that Joy would be getting ahold of me because "she felt terrible" but I never heard from her. After all the time we spent planning and confirming plans there should have been no mistakes made. The room was beautiful but only because we hired an outside decorator.

This venue was absolutely incredible. Far from any other venue we looked at. The staff was very friendly and professional and worked with us very well. The food was amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed and even though we didn't use their decorations, they set up ours for us so we didn't have to worry about it. They made sure that we got to look at it a couple days before and made sure everything to ok with us. Beautiful building as well. Felt like I was entering a castle. Would recommend to anyone. They can accomadate anything you want.

They served the WRONG DINNER!! I had gone to choose my dinner many times with Ryan and even confirmed details the day before. I showed up to see that nothing I had chosen was served!! The place was romantic - but things were a bit sad after I saw my hard work on planning go down the drain!
